RAKBANK has launched instant remittance services to Axis Bank in India using blockchain technology, leveraging on Ripple’s global network, RippleNet, which has over 100 members. The UAE bank, which offers Islamic solutions, plans to roll out its Ripple-powered RAKMoneyTransfer remittance service to other markets.
